2015 - The Beginning
Three ex-journalists and a PR consultant walked into a coffee shop on Homer Street. Sounds like a joke, but we realized Vancouver needed someone who actually understood crisis management beyond damage control. We'd all been on the other side - covering scandals, watching companies crumble. Figured we could do better.
2017 - First Major Win
Remember that tech company data breach that somehow didn't tank their stock? Yeah, that was us. Can't name names, but we learned something crucial - transparency beats spin every single time. That case put us on the map and changed how we approach every crisis since.
2019 - Expansion
Moved into Suite 400 and doubled our team. Added digital security to our roster because honestly, you can't protect a brand without understanding the tech side. Hired former hackers, social media analysts, and a lawyer who gets it. Game changer.
2021 - Pandemic Pivot
COVID hit everyone hard, but we saw companies scrambling with messaging that just... missed. We developed rapid response protocols that we still use today. Helped 40+ businesses navigate lockdown communications without sounding tone-deaf. Learned to move faster than ever.
2023 - Going National
Started taking clients from Toronto, Calgary, Montreal. Turns out our West Coast approach resonated across Canada. We're still Vancouver-based and proud of it, but now we're protecting brands coast to coast. Who knew?
2025 - Today
We're 30 people strong now, still in the same building, still answering our phones at 2am when crisis hits. We've handled everything from social media nightmares to full-blown PR disasters. And yeah, we sleep better knowing the brands we protect actually deserve defending.
